Issue Description: Users may experience PowerPoint slide download failures during Teams meeting recordings.

More info: Users’ PowerPoint slide download failures is resulting in unauthorized access errors and service unavailability.

As a workaround, users should avoid PowerPoint Live and instead use regular screen sharing, which will be captured in recordings.

Final Update: 05/02/2026 08:49:00 AM – Microsoft has completed the revert process to remove the impacting authentication components and successfully issued the new component configuration to resolve the incompatibility that triggered the failures, remediating impact for all users.
