Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may be intermittently unable to use the Microsoft Teams API in Microsoft Graph to create teams.

Current Update: 09/03/2026 09:14:00 AM– Microsoft are continuing to monitor the positive improvement in our service telemetry for creating teams as the fix saturates throughout the affected environment.

Scope of impact: Some users attempting to create Microsoft Teams via the Microsoft Graph Create team API may be impacted.

Root cause: A recent service change has inadvertently introduced a mismatch regression when processing Microsoft Teams async operations.
