Issue Description: Admins are unable to edit certain policies in the Endpoint Security node in Microsoft Intune.

More info: Admins see errors when trying to edit or assign Account Protection Policies, Firewall Policies, Endpoint Protection Policies, and Antivirus Policies.

Final Update: 09/01/2026 08:13:00 AM – Microsoft has successfully reverted back to the previous stable version to restore normal functionality. However, if impact still persists, please follow the guidelines provided in the “More info” section of this communication to fully restore the service.
