Issue Description: Users are unable to release or preview ZAP email messages from quarantine in Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

Users receive an error message incorrectly stating that “The message has been deleted”. Users can attempt to retry to release the email messages and it may succeed.

Final Update: 10/04/2026 10:19:00 AM Microsoft fix deployment is complete, and they have determined from service telemetry that this issue is resolved.
