Issue Description: Microsoft Copilot Studio – Agents were unable to process end user PDFs files configured with the GPT-5 model.
Final Update: 08/04/2026 08:32:00 AM–A customer escalation alerted us to an issue where agents were unable to process end user PDF files that were configured with the GPT-5 model. After their investigation, they identified a code bug that was introduced as part of a recent service update as the source of the impact. They rolled back this deployment and confirmed via service health diagnostics that functionality was restored.
Scope of impact: This issue may potentially impact any user attempting to install user targeted apps in the Intune Company Portal. This information may be updated as our investigation continues.
Preliminary Root Cause: A code bug that was introduced as part of a recent service update as the source of the impact.
Next Steps: Microsoft are reviewing our standard service update procedures to avoid similar impact in the future.
