Issue Description: Certain users’ Apple devices enrolled in bulk via Microsoft Intune cannot receive user-targeted policies.

Message: This issue is impacting certain users’ MacOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices enrolled in bulk. If the Wi-Fi or VPN profile for an affected device is assigned to the user, they will be unable to connect to either service.

Current Status 09/04/2025 09:50:00 – : A fix has been validated that will prevent new devices from being affected by this problem, and preparations are underway for deployment. Efforts are ongoing to find remediation solutions for the devices currently impacted, aiming to restore normal functionality. Once a resolution plan is in place, a timeline for its deployment will be shared.

Cause: The issue arises when an Apple device undergoes an authentication component renewal, while the user associated with the device is blocked within Microsoft Entra ID.
