Issue Description: Users may have been unable to join Microsoft Teams meetings.

Final Update: 02/04/2025 08:41:00 AM – Microsoft have identified that a section of Azure infrastructure, responsible for facilitating meeting join requests, inadvertently became unresponsive and resulted in impact. They have restored the affected infrastructure and confirmed impact has been remediated after a period of monitoring.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Next steps: Microsoft are analyzing performance data and trends on the affected infrastructure to help prevent this problem from happening again.
