Transition Plan: Moving from Windows 365 Web Client to Windows App.
Message: Starting February 25, 2025, users who access the Windows 365 web client will receive an in-app notification encouraging them to switch to the Windows App. The Windows App has been available since September 2024 and can already be activated through a toggle in the Windows 365 web client.
On May 1, 2025, the Windows 365 web client will be completely replaced and will automatically redirect to the Windows App. By June 1, 2025, the Windows 365 web client will no longer be supported or accessible.
Organization Impact: The Windows App is available on all major platforms, granting access to existing Windows 365 Cloud PC connections. Users can download the Windows App from the respective app store for their platform or access it via the web.

How can I ensure smooth transition going forward?
Existing Windows 365 web client users don’t need to take any action. The transition to the Windows App will happen automatically, with users being redirected starting May 1, 2025. Users can also manually switch at any time by enabling the toggle in the Windows 365 web client.
