Information – NHS Email Relay Configuration Updates

Please be aware there are ongoing configuration changes taking place on the NHS Email Relay Service this week. This is not expected to affect all organisations, but the change will impact some *.NHS.uk domains who have not made the configuration changes communicated in October 2024.
We would advise *.NHS.uk organisations to familiarise themselves with their business continuity plans in advance to avoid potential mail flow problems, particularly if they have hard coded IP information into applications. The Relay Configuration article has been updated with the latest information on the primary connection and configuration settings, and should be your first stop if you do experience issues.
