Information – Changes concerning enrollment of Android devices on the central tenant

We would like to inform you of recent changes concerning the enrollment of Android devices on the central tenant.

Please note that once Android devices are enrolled on the central tenant, a script will automatically rename Fully Managed devices to the following format: <ODS>-AndroidEnterprise-<EndUser>-<SerialNumber> (LSP01-AndroidEnterprise-John-Doe-DHJS33N43.

The original device name will be updated within a few hours of the script execution. Therefore, if you document any device details outside of Intune, please use the serial number for accurate tracking.
