Issue Description: Users are experiencing various impact scenarios with Power BI.

More info: Specifically, users are experiencing issues attempting to access, update, or republish their dashboards, reports, apps and datasets.

Additionally, if users attempt to click “Update app” they receive the following error message, “This app doesn’t exist anymore”.

If users attempt to unpublish the app they receive the following error message, “Something went wrong”.

Final Update: 08/10/2024 08:59:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed that the fix has fully saturated the affected environment and they have verified with some affected users, and through telemetry, that the issue has been resolved.

Scope of impacts: Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to access, update, or republish dashboards, reports, apps and datasets in Power BI are impacted.

Root cause: A recent configuration change to a section of infrastructure, responsible for various impact scenarios with dashboards, reports, apps and datasets in Power BI is resulting in impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their configuration change procedures so we can better identify similar issues during their development and testing cycles and avoid comparable impact in the future.
