Issue Description: Users may be unable to access Webinar registration links with Microsoft Teams

Final Update: 03/03/2025 09:17:00 AM – The reversion process for the impacting service update has completed, and Microsoft have confirmed through monitoring service health telemetry that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to users who were served through the affected infrastructure attempting to access Webinar registration lings within Microsoft Teams.

Root cause: A routine service update to a portion of the Microsoft Teams service infrastructure contained a code issue, resulting in impact.

Next Steps: Microsoft are reviewing their update procedures to understand why impact to Webinar registration link access wasn’t caught during the testing phase. This will allow us to drive service improvements by proactively identifying similar issues in the future and improve their update testing processes.
