Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may be unable to log-in to Microsoft Teams using iOS devices.

Final Update: 27/08/2024 09:04:00 AM After a period of monitoring the affected environment, Microsoft have confirmed that service availability self-mitigated once the offending influx in traffic subsided and that this issue is resolved.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users served through the affected infrastructure that were attempting to access Microsoft Team using the Microsoft Teams iOS app.

Root cause: An unexpected influx of service traffic caused a subset of infrastructure that facilitates access to Microsoft Teams from iOS devices to operate in a sub-optimal state, resulting in the impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing infrastructure optimizations in the affected region to prevent any sudden influx in service requests from affecting their service in the future and prevent issues like this from occurring.
