Issue Description: Users may intermittently have been unable to perform certain actions to Microsoft Teams in Microsoft Power Automate.
More info: Users may have experienced failures while trying to use specific actions in Microsoft Power Automate which included, but wasn”t limited to:
– Flow designer
– Post Message to Chat or Channel
– Post Adaptive Card to Chat or Channel
Final Update: 05/06/2025 08:37:00 AM – Microsoft investigation has led us to determine that a recent change to their Microsoft Teams service to update how authentication calls are processed introduced a code regression that resulted in impact to our Microsoft Power Automate service. They have reverted the offending change and confirmed through a period of monitoring service telemetry that the issue has been remediated.
Scope of impact: Your organization was affected by this event, and users who attempted to use flows while utilizing Post Adaptive Card to Microsoft Teams in Microsoft Power Automate were impacted.
Root cause: A recent change to our Microsoft Teams service to update how authentication calls are processed introduced a code regression that resulted in impact to our Microsoft Power Automate service.
Next Steps: Microsoft are reviewing their change processes so they can better identify similar issues during their testing and development cycles and avoid comparable impact in the future.
