Issue Description : Users receive an error after editing PDF properties if the sensitivity label is set to ‘none’ in SharePoint Online sites.
More info : Users’ edits were successful on page refresh, unless the edit was specifically to the sensitivity field.
Final Update : 24/07/2023 08:44:00 AM – Microsoft’s fix deployment has completed ahead of schedule, and they have confirmed the sensitivity field will no longer be visible on PDFs, remediating impact.
Scope of impact : The issue impacts any user attempting to edit the PDF properties of a new document if the sensitivity label is set to ‘none’ in SharePoint Online sites.
Root cause : A misconfiguration of the SharePoint Online service creates an incompatibility between sensitivity labels and PDF files, resulting in impact.
