The NHSmail Portal release is named in honour of Colonel Sharon Findlay, defence nursing advisor, who was awarded the Royal Red Cross as part of the Queen’s birthday honours in 2021 for her services during Covid-19.

BAU Functionality

68184 – Add M365 E5 licence to the NHSmail Portal.

This PBI introduces a new user policy base licence called Microsoft 365 E5 which will be available for organisations to purchase and assign to their user policies within the NHSmail Portal.

This licence type will provide an array of service plans which can be toggled on, alongside providing a 100GB mailbox size, if the larger mailbox setting is switched on.

66477 – Telephone field validation updates on the My Profile page.

This PBI introduces a validation change to the telephone field within the My Profile page. This keeps a consistent validation set between the telephone field shown on the User Management page and the My Profile page. The new validation added to the Telephone field on the My Profile page enables a telephone number to be added with an extension value, alongside a maximum length of 50 characters.
