Final Update : 17/10/2022 12:18:00 PM – Microsoft has deployed a fix to the affected infrastructure and validated through our telemetry that the impact was remediated.

Root cause : A recently scheduled service updated contained a code regression that caused delays with email notifications within the Power BI service.

Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing their service update analysis procedures to help identify and prevent similar regressions in future updates.
