Issue Description : Admins could not update existing compliance policies in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.

More info : This issue affected compliance policy management in all Microsoft Purview compliance solutions for Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint Online services.

Scope of impact : Your organization was affected by this event, and admins were unable to update existing compliance policies in the compliance portal.

Final Update : 10/10/2022 17:30:00 PM – The fix has deployed successfully, and we’ve confirmed that the issue is now resolved.

Root cause : A recent compliance policy update exposed a code regression that prevented validation logic from accurately identifying scope tags in existing compliance policies, resulting in this impact.
