Issue Status : RESOLVED

Issue Description : Some users may have been unable to view all items in the People tab in Exchange Online via Outlook on the web.

More info : Specifically, users were only be able to view the number of people in the People tab that appear in the window when opened. Users can’t scroll through to see other people.

Scope of impact : Impact was specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Final Update : 26/10/2022 08:25:00 AM – Microsoft has successfully deployed the fix, and received confirmation from affected users that impact is no longer occurring.

Root cause : A recent scheduled service update, applied to a section of infrastructure responsible for populating the People tab, contained a change which is inadvertently causing impact.

Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing their standard service update procedures to prevent similar impact from reoccurring.
