Issue Description : Some users can’t complete Apple device enrollment through Apple Setup Assistant in Microsoft Intune.

Scope of impact : Your organization was affected by this event, and some users attempting to enroll an Apple device through Apple Setup Assistant were impacted.

Final Update : 22/08/2022 09:28:00 AM – Microsoft has completed deploying the fix and confirmed with internal telemetry that the issue is resolved.

Root cause : A recent update intended to optimize device enrollment introduced a regression that was causing some devices to get stuck in a transient state during the enrollment process, which lead to impact.

Next steps : Microsoft is further reviewing the recent update to better understand how the regression took place, and to prevent similar issues from reoccurring.
