Issue Description : Admins’ downloaded CSV mailbox usage reports via Microsoft 365 admin center don’t contain data prior to August 1, 2022.
Scope of impact : This issue may potentially have impacted any admin attempting to view mailbox usage report data from before August 1, 2022.
Final Update : 19/08/2022 09:10:00 AM – Microsoft has successfully deployed a fix to address the code misconfiguration and confirmed via telemetry that this issue is resolved.
Root cause : A recently implemented code configuration for mailbox data in usage reports is causing issues with data in usage reports prior to August 1, 2022.
Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing our code configuration validation and deployment procedures to better detect and prevent issues like this in the future.
