Issue Description : Users are unable to load specific data in the URL and file pages in the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint portal.

More info : Users are thrown the following error “An error has occurred error message” when attempting to access ‘Observed in organization’ data in the URL and file page.

Scope of Impact : Impact is specific to users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Final Update : 29/03/2022 09:51:00 AM – Microsoft deployed the fix to the affected infrastructure and confirmed impact has been remediated after a period of monitoring.

Root cause : A configuration change, in a recent service update, resulted in some specific data in the URL and file pages to not load as expected.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their standard service update procedures to avoid similar impact in the future.
