Issue Description: O365 Privacy Notifications may be duplicated or intermittently fail to send.
Current Update: 28/01/2026 11:30:00 AM – Microsoft are aware of an intermittent issue that has caused a high volume of duplicate O365 Privacy Notifications to be delivered to a subset of LOAs and PLAs.
These notifications are triggered when an organisation changes the privacy settings of an MS Teams Channel or MS SharePoint site from Private to Public, and are intended to ensure that organisations understand the implications of making this change. Further information can be found here:

In some instances, notifications may fail to send when such changes are made. We are working collaboratively with Microsoft to identify the root cause and will take appropriate action once the next steps have been confirmed. Thank you for your patience while we continue to investigate.
