Issue Description: Users may be experiencing issues initiating SharePoint Workflow 2013.

More info: SharePoint Workflow 2013 may not be visible to affected users and the following error message may be received when it’s initiated: “Some Workflows may not be shown. We are unable to reach the Workflow service.”

Final Update: 23/09/2025 08:41:00 AM – Microsoft have determined that a recent configuration change to an authentication component prevented access to SharePoint Workflow 2013. They corrected this configuration change and confirmed with affected users that impact is remediated.

Scope of impact: Some users who are served through the affected infrastructure, attempting to initiate SharePoint Workflow 2013 may be impacted.

Next Steps: Microsoft are reviewing their configuration change validation procedure to help identify and prevent similar authentication issues in the future.
