Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may have encountered SQL endpoint connection failures for Microsoft Fabric warehouse or Lakehouse artifacts.

Final Update: 21/01/2026 09:14:00 AM – Following our additional request level management, our internal service telemetry has verified that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users who were attempting to connect to their warehouse artifacts in Microsoft Fabric.

Root cause: A backend system restart caused a system that manages resource traffic to become unstable and unable to balance request levels as expected.

Next steps: Microsoft are further analysing the offending system restart to help us prevent similar issues from producing impact in the future.
