Issue Description: Users may be unable to schedule new end-to-end encrypted meetings in Microsoft Teams.

Final Update: 22/11/2024 08:40:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed the fix deployment has completed, and after a period of monitoring, they’ve determined impact was remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact may occur for any user attempting to schedule new end-to-end encrypted meetings in Microsoft Teams.

Root cause: A recent feature update to enhance encryption functionality in Microsoft Teams inadvertently resulted in impact.

Next steps: To help prevent similar impact in the future, they’re further reviewing their feature update release procedures to identify issues before being released.
