1.3.1 What happens after switchover?
Changes to your login details to access the migrated files and applications
From phase 2 (Switchover), you will access OneDrive, SharePoint and MS Teams using your NHSmail credentials. If you are part of the Early Adopter groups, you will need to work across two tenants until the main migration.
Changes to your ways of working
- Data that has been migrated will go into read-only mode on the former NHS Digital environment. This means you can only view these sites and documents.
- For workloads that are not SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, please refer to the Introduction, where actions are detailed.
- Please only use the NHSD environment as a reference if you find an omission was made during migration. In this case, escalate your concerns to the migration team via IT Migration Mailbox transformation@nhs.net
- Access and work on your OneDrive files/folders, SharePoint, and Teams sites on the NHSmail tenant.
- View your up-to-date calendar directly from Teams and set up meetings directly from Teams.
- Important to note: If you are working in NHSmail on a document, and decide to share it with a specific colleague, remember to use the ‘People you specify can view’ or ‘People with existing access’ box. If you use the ‘People in my Organisation’ box it will enable anyone working in NHSmail (including colleagues across NHS trusts) with the link to access your document.
