We are currently seeing an issue with users’ Display Names showing incorrectly in OWA and MS Teams. A user may have been transferred organisations via the Portal and this shows correctly in the Portal, however, when their name is typed into the “To” field in OWA, it shows as the previous organisation. All accounts are synchronised and fully up to date in all of our Admin Centres, as well as AD/ADD.

This issue is being investigated under PRB0188876.
Our advice currently is to clear cached entries in OWA by clicking the “x” in the corner of the suggested contact and search for the user via the Global Address List as this should show the correct display name for the user. If you are still seeing the issue after clearing the cached entries there is currently no workaround we can offer. This is being investigated by Microsoft and an update will be provided as soon as possible.
