Issue Description: Some users are unable to copy and paste external email addresses when creating calendar meetings in Microsoft Teams.

More info: Impact was specific to external addresses containing the “#” symbol. Copying and pasting internal email addresses works as expected. This impacts all Microsoft Teams connection methods, including Microsoft Teams classic and new Microsoft Teams.

Final Update: 07/08/2024 08:27:00 AM Microsoft have fully reverted the offending change, and after monitoring the service, they have verified that this action has successfully remediated the issue.

Scope of impact: This issue may potentially have affected some users attempting to copy and paste external email addresses when creating meeting in Microsoft Teams.
