An update to the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is planned to take place early in Q3 2022. The update will block accounts which have not accepted the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) from accessing all Microsoft 365 applications (including non-Microsoft 365 applications registered against Azure Active Directory). Access will be granted once the AUP has been accepted in the NHSmail Portal.
What does that mean to me?
If you have not accepted the AUP, after the update your access to Microsoft 365 applications (including non-Microsoft 365 applications registered against Azure Active Directory) will be blocked.
To minimise any impact to your day-to-day work, please follow the steps outlined in the NHSmail Acceptable Use Policy Support Site article to accept the Acceptable Use Policy.
Please note, it may take approximately 24 hours for your acceptance status to be updated on the system. Please avoid raising tickets with the NHSmail Helpdesk until the 24 hours period is complete.
Disruptions to your ability to carry out day-to-day work might be experienced if you delay accepting the Acceptable Use Policy.
